The OSHA 10 course is a 10 hour program that is intended to provide a cariety of construction safety & health training to employees. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control & prevention, not OSHA standards. The required topics in OSHA 10 include:
-Introduction to OSHA
-OSHA Focus Four Hazards
-Persoanl Protective & Lifesaving Equipment
-Health Hazards in Construction
-Stairways & Ladders
The program also allows for elective training in the the following (2 are included within the OSHA 10 package):
-Materials, Handling, Storage, Use & Disposal
-Tools- Hand & Power
-Scaffolds
-Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elvators & Converyors
-Excavations
CPR Stat also offers a defensive driving course that can only be conducted at your site. There is a classroom portion and a practical portion in a vehcile. All participants must have a valid driver's license. Particpant's participate in a classroom discussion and audio-visual demonstration and then actually use your company vehicle to demonstrate the skill. This course is $65/person and a minimum of 10 persons to conduct the training preferred. |
